END OF 2ND TERM
2023/2024 SESSION

Dear esteemed Parents/Guardians,
All praise and adorations belong to Almighty God who in His immeasurable mercies and blessings protected and safeguarded us throughout this concluded term. We also extend our appreciation to you for your cooperation, support and understanding in making this second term 2023/2024 academic session a successful one despite all the economic challenges in the country. We pray to God to continue showering His countless blessings on us. Amen.

Having said all these, we hereby deem it necessary to keep you abreast of the following;

1. The SS 3 Special Examination started on 11th March and ended on the 19th of March 2024. In a similar vein, the second term examination began on 21st of March and ended on the 28th of March 2024. The result of the SS 3 Special Examination is ready and had been discussed with the concerned parents. Also, the 2nd term results will be published/posted on the school portal latest by 9th April 2024.
2. This year’s WAEC examination for our SS 3 students will hold in May/June 2024 and the Junior WAEC ( BECE) will commence immediately after the Senior WAEC in July. All the affected parents should advise their wards to please take their studies seriously and read for these upcoming examinations. The drilling of the SS 3 and JSS 3 students continue as usual when the school resumes next term . The 7am – 8am lesson period for these terminal classes is mandatory for all of them to attend and also the afternoon coaching classes. Parents should ensure that their wards do not miss these classes.
3. UNIFORM /DRESS CODE. It has been observed that students don’t always comply with the school dress code. We will no longer condone violation of the school policy on this anymore. Any student found wearing wrong uniform to the school will be sent back home. Also, the female students must comply with the hair style given to them at all times and the boys must cut the right hair without any style variation. Violation of these policies shall be viewed seriously by the school authority.
4. LATENESS TO SCHOOL. Students are advised to come to school early and regularly as lateness to school will not be allowed. We do a lot of learning on the assembly in the morning such as Brain Drill on Vocabularies and Mathematical formulae. Students who are not in school on time will definitely miss out of this life-changing activities. Strict measures will be taken against any student coming late to school henceforth.
5. PTA MEETING. Our PTA meeting/ Tea Break in the secondary school will hold in the second week of resumption of the 3rd term ( On a Thursday) in the, college by 8am. All parents must attend this important meeting as important issues affecting your wards shall be discussed.
6. PROJECT . At the secondary school level, students will be asked to do projects on subject by subject basis. As a result, parents should get prepared to support their children on this when the need arises.
7. END OF SESSION ACTIVITIES; PRICE GIVING DAY, AWARD, AND GRADUATION. This will come up in July ( 3rd term). All parents are enjoined to please support the school in no small measure to ensure a successful outing at the event. Kindly take note that this is a school event and as such, it is mandatory that all students participate fully in it. It is not optional.
8. SECURITY. All parents are advised to take the security of their Children very seriously. You should please advise your wards never to go to any place unknown to you.
9. GSM/PHONE. Students are not allowed to bring phone to school. It is the school policy and we want our parents to please adhere strictly to this policy. Any phone seized from any student will not be returned to them again. Parents should please cooperate with the school to instill discipline in these students.
10. SCHOOL PORTAL. Parents are advised to check their children’s 2nd term results on the subject portal when it is released on the 9th of April 2024 . Parents are also advised to allow their wards to use their phones at home during the holidays to do the assignments which will be posted on the school portal for the students. Students can access e- library on the school portal to read a lot of novels at all times now that they are on holidays.
11. EXTRA CURRICULUM ACTIVITIES. Our school was among the nine (9) schools in Lagos State invited on the 11th of January and 18th of February 2024 respectively by the American Consulate Victoria Island and their Annex at Lekki during this 2nd term to participate in the Martins Luther King Day ceremony and on a Leadership training course. Our students participated fully and it was a life changing experience for those selected to represent the school at the events. Our Art students also visited the University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba, on the 7th of March to watch a stage presentation of “THE LION AND THE JEWEL by Professor Wole Soyinka. It was also a rewarding experience for the attendees.
12. SCHOOL FEE. All parents are strongly advised to pay their wards’ fees before resumption of the 3rd term on 22nd of April, 2024 because this will help the school plan effectively for a successful term. May God continue to provide for you all. Kindly take note that we do not accept cash payment in the school again. All payments must be made to the school’s account with the following details;. 13. LAB COAT.
All Science Students and Home Economics students are expected to wear Lab Coat during practical sessions in the Laboratory. To this end, all parents are advised to please buy Lab Coat for their Wards. You can get it at N7,000 ( Seven thousand Naira only) in the school or you may buy it outside if you desire.

14 RESUMPTION DATE FOR 3RD TERM: 22nd April 2024. Please assist the school to serve you better. May God continue to replenish your pockets in manifold ways. Amen.
