NEWS LETTER

Dear Esteemed Parents/Guardians,
All praise and adoration belong to Almighty God who in His immeasurable mercies and blessings protected and safeguarded us throughout this concluded term and most importantly, throughout this session. We also extend our appreciation to you for your co-operation, support and understanding in making this third term 2020/2021 academic session a successful one. We pray to God to continue pouring His countless blessings on us. Amin.
Having said all these, we deem it fit to abreast you with the following information:
- EXAMINATION: The school examination slated for this term started on Monday 26th July ,2021 and ended on the 30th July 2021.
- UNIFORM/DRESS CODE: It has been observed by the school management that both students and pupils are still not putting on the right school dress code as planned daily. Any student or pupil with tattered uniform, incorrect school dress code or indecent cloth would not be allowed in school. We are also using this medium to implore our parents to take a look at their children/wards uniform before allowing them to step out of the house for school.
- EXTERNAL DEBATE AND DRAMA COMPETITION: Some of our students went for debate and drama competition at Radio Nigeria, Ikoyi on the 16th June 2021 and we are glad to inform you that we came victorious in the following areas:
- The best performing school
- Winner in drama competition
- 3rd place winner in debate
- Most promising student went to one of our students. In person of Moyosore Odunekun
- LATENESS TO SCHOOL: Students and pupils are advised to come to school early and regularly as lateness will not be condoned any longer as strict measures shall be put in place for late-comers henceforth.
- P.T.A MEETING: This is to bring to your notice that henceforth P.T.A meeting shall be holding in first week of resumption. First Thursday 16/9/2021 of that resumption week has been booked for the meeting by 8:00a.m.
- SUMMER COACHING: In order to serve you better, we want to engage our students throughout the holiday by drilling them more in all their weak subjects. This will take effect from 9th August to 3rd September,2021. It will start by 9:00a.m and end by 1:00p.m from Monday to Friday.
- PROJECTS: At the secondary level, students will be asked to do projects. Subject by subject, as a result, parents should get prepared to support their children/wards in this regard when the need arises.
- USE OF GSM PHONE: No student is allowed to bring to school as this will be seized permanently if found in any on any student. Parents are also enjoined to collaborate with the school on the area of indiscipline among the students to arrest this menace.
- USE OF PORTAL SYSTEM: The use of portal has commenced in the school. All parents are advised to check their children 3rd term results on the school portal. Kindly take note that you can monitor children’s performance on this portal. Weekend assignments will also be given to students on the portal among others.
- SCHOOL FEE: The school fees for first term 2021/2022 academic session had been attached to the news letter. We therefore, implore our parents to ensure that 70% of the school fee is paid on or before resumption while the remaining 30% should be paid two weeks after resumption as discussed and agreed at the meeting held with parents. - S.S.3 WAEC CAMPING ACTIVITIES: The S.S.3 students camping activities have been cancelled due to parents unwillingness to pay for the project. However, WAEC exam will begin on the 17th August,2021.
